How do you process concrete rubble into new concrete blocks?

Concrete granulate is also ideal for processing into new concrete blocks. Mix this crushed concrete rubble (for example in a mixing bucket) with cement, sand, gravel and water, then pour it into your concrete mould(s) according to our step-by-step plan:

  1. Place the mould on a level surface: for example a casting table.
  2. Apply a release agent: this makes the concrete block easy to remove.
  3. Pour the concrete mixture into the mould: make sure all recesses are properly filled.
  4. Vibrate the concrete: use a poker vibrator for optimal compaction.
  5. Smooth the surface: use a trowel or screed for this.
  6. Allow the concrete to cure: after 24 hours, you can open the mould and remove the concrete block.

Why disposing of leftover concrete is costly

Disposing of leftover concrete comes with substantial costs. Consider, for example:

  1. Transport to the landfill: this not only requires fuel, but also time and labour costs.
  2. Disposal fees: the costs of waste removal can add up quickly.
