What exactly is included in a Betonblock® starter package?

A starter package includes a concrete block mould in the size 160x80x80 cm or 180x60x60 cm, together with a complete set of important components to get started with production. In addition to the concrete block mould, you receive a matching divider, a Betonblock® mould opener, 2 magnets with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes, 4 rubber grommets for 2.5 tonnes, 50 spherical-head anchors with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes and 2 universal lifting hooks. The divider also allows you to produce half blocks in addition to full-size concrete blocks.

Is a starter package suitable for both beginners and experienced concrete producers?

Yes. The starter package is suitable for producers who want to make concrete blocks for the first time as well as experienced concrete producers looking to expand their production. As a beginner, you do not have to select the most important components individually and can start with one complete set. For experienced producers, a starter package is a practical way to add extra production capacity or a new concrete block size to an existing operation.

Why choose a starter package instead of separate moulds and accessories?

With a starter package, you receive a concrete block mould together with a selection of matching components needed to start producing and handling concrete blocks. This means you do not have to select and order all the products separately. The package also contains components for different stages of the production process, from producing half blocks with a divider to positioning anchors and lifting the finished concrete blocks. If you want to expand your production later, you can easily add extra moulds, anchors and accessories.

Which starter package sizes are available?

Betonblock® starter packages are available in two popular sizes: 160x80x80 cm and 180x60x60 cm. These dimensions refer to the size of the full concrete block that can be produced with the supplied mould. Both packages include a matching divider, allowing you to produce shorter blocks as well as full-size blocks. The most suitable size depends on the concrete blocks you want to produce and their intended application.

Which accessories are included in the starter package?

In addition to the concrete block mould and divider, the starter package includes a mould opener, 2 magnets with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes, 4 rubber grommets for 2.5 tonnes, 50 spherical-head anchors with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes and 2 universal lifting hooks. This gives you several important components for producing, demoulding and handling concrete blocks. Products such as additional anchors, a lifting chain, release oil, a finishing screed and form liners are not included as standard but can be added separately.

How many concrete blocks can I make with a starter package?

The concrete block mould itself is designed for repeated use, allowing you to produce a large number of concrete blocks throughout its service life. The number of blocks you can initially produce using the supplied lifting anchors depends on the number of anchors included and the number of anchors required per block. For the 160x80x80 cm starter package, Betonblock® states that the supplied materials are sufficient for 25 full-size blocks of 160x80x80 cm or 50 half blocks of 80x80x80 cm. Additional spherical-head anchors can then be ordered to continue production.

What production capacity is a starter package suitable for?

A starter package is primarily designed as a practical way to begin producing concrete blocks or to expand an existing production setup. Actual production capacity depends not only on the mould but also on factors such as concrete curing time, the number of moulds available, your concrete production capacity and the way the blocks are demoulded and handled. If you want to produce more blocks per production cycle, you can expand the setup with additional concrete block moulds and accessories.
