The right accessories can make the production of concrete barriers easier and more efficient. How do I use a connection profile set with concrete barriers?

The steel connection profiles are positioned in the designated locations in the barrier mould before casting. During casting, the profiles are embedded in the concrete barrier. Once the concrete has cured sufficiently and the barrier has been removed from the mould, the cast-in profiles make it possible to connect individual barriers to one another. This allows several elements to be combined into a longer, continuous barrier. Always position the profiles correctly and according to the instructions before pouring the concrete.

What is the barrier mould easy filler and how does it work?

The Betonblock® JBF-Barrier easy filler is designed to make filling a barrier mould with concrete easier and more efficient. Its sloping sides help guide the concrete towards the opening of the barrier mould during casting. This makes it easier to fill the narrow top of the mould, reduces the amount of manual work required and can save time during production. After filling, the concrete must still be properly compacted and finished in the usual way.

How do I choose the right casting table or working surface?

A barrier mould should be placed on a stable and level surface during casting. If the floor at the production site is not sufficiently level, a casting table with adjustable legs can provide a suitable solution. The Betonblock® casting table measures 250x125x8 cm and can be levelled using its adjustable legs. This provides a stable base for casting concrete barriers and other concrete products. Always choose a surface with sufficient load-bearing capacity that is stable and level enough for the mould, concrete and surrounding production work.
