Increase the Flexibility of Your Barriers with BETONBLOCK® Partition Walls

At BETONBLOCK®, we understand that the needs of each construction project are unique, especially when it comes to setting up temporary or permanent partitions. That’s why we offer innovative partition walls that adapt your barriers to the specific requirements of your project.

DV200.54-JB - Partition Wall

Our DV200.54-JB partition wall provides an excellent solution for situations requiring flexibility and adaptability. With this partition wall, you can create two barriers, each 1 metre long, ideal for placing half barriers. Installation is simple, and each partition wall comes with two base plates and a forklift sleeves set, so you can get started right away.

Extra Fast Production with Two Base Plates

The advantage of the extra base plate provided is that you can produce faster. Once a block of concrete is ready, it can continue curing on the base plate. Meanwhile, the rest of the mould can be used with the extra base plate for a new block, very quickly and efficiently!

Why Choose BETONBLOCK® Partition Walls?

  1. Flexibility: Easily adapt your barriers to meet the specific needs of your project.
  2. Easy Installation: Our partition walls are designed for quick and easy assembly.

Frequently asked questions about dividers for barrier moulds

With a divider for a Betonblock® barrier mould, you can produce more flexibly and create different barrier lengths using one standard mould. The DV200.54-JB divider is designed for the standard barrier mould and makes it possible to produce two barriers of approximately one metre each instead of one two-metre barrier. The divider comes complete with two base plates and a forklift sleeves set. Below, we answer the most frequently asked questions about using dividers for barrier moulds and their possibilities.

How do I use a divider in a barrier mould?

The divider is placed inside the barrier mould before pouring the concrete and divides the available space within the mould. With the DV200.54-JB, you can produce two shorter barriers of approximately one metre each. Make sure the divider is positioned correctly and securely before pouring the concrete. This allows you to easily produce a different barrier length using the same barrier mould.

Can I produce different lengths with one standard barrier mould using a divider?

Yes. The standard Betonblock® barrier mould produces a barrier approximately two metres long. By using the DV200.54-JB divider, you can divide the same mould and produce two barriers of approximately one metre each. This means you do not need to purchase a separate complete barrier mould for each required length. It makes production more flexible, especially when you need both longer and shorter barriers.

Are barriers produced with a divider suitable for temporary and permanent separations?

Depending on the project, shorter concrete barriers can be used for both temporary and longer-term separations. Possible applications include roadworks, construction sites, events and site boundaries. Whether a barrier is suitable for a specific permanent or traffic-safety application also depends on factors such as its positioning, the concrete used, any connections between the barriers and applicable local regulations. Always check the project-specific requirements for the intended application.

Can barriers produced with a divider be used in bends or corner configurations?

Using a divider allows you to produce shorter barriers, providing greater flexibility when creating bends, corners and routes where the direction changes. A barrier of approximately one metre can be positioned in smaller increments than a two-metre element. This makes it easier to adapt the barrier layout to the shape of the site or road. When planning the configuration, however, take into account any connections between the barriers as well as the safety and project requirements for the specific application.

Does using a divider save time when producing concrete barriers?

A divider can make the production process more flexible and efficient because you can produce multiple shorter elements using the same barrier mould. This means you do not need to change moulds when you want to produce barriers of approximately one metre instead of two metres. The actual amount of time saved depends on your production process, the amount of concrete, curing time and how the barriers are demoulded and moved.

How large is the divider?

The DV200.54-JB divider is specifically designed for the standard Betonblock® barrier mould. With this divider, you can divide the mould to produce two concrete barriers of approximately one metre each. The divider is supplied with two base plates and a forklift sleeves set.
